Food Bank Volunteer Event

In conjunction with our Lenten theme for 2026, the Corporal Works of Mercy, Christ the King will work a volunteer shift from 6:30-8:30pm on Wednesday, March 18 at the Regional Food Bank of Oklahoma. We are limited to 46 volunteers! Please register by March 9.

The Corporal Works of Mercy are found in the teachings of Jesus and give us a model for how we should treat all others, as if they were Christ in disguise. They "are charitable actions by which we help our neighbors in their bodily needs" (USCCB). They respond to the basic needs of humanity as we journey together through this life.
- The minimum age requirement is 8 years of age. Volunteers under the age of 16 must be accompanied by an adult.
- All volunteers are expected to wear closed-toed shoes.
- All volunteers must be registered prior to volunteering, and the registration includes the acknowledgement of the Volunteer Release and Waiver of Liability. Please bring the completed waiver with you to the Food Bank.
