Grace and peace to you in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ.
I write to you with great hope and excitement as we look toward the future of our parish and school community. After much prayer, discernment, and planning, we are preparing to launch a capital campaign to build a new Early Childhood Center—an investment in our FAITH, our FAMILIES, and the FUTURE of our parish for generations to come.
As you may remember, Christ the King conducted a feasibility survey last fall that produced results showing an overwhelming response that there was a high need for an early childhood facility. After listening to the parishioners and conducting additional research and planning, a top-notch facility has been designed and we are ready to see it come to life.
This ambitious project, with a goal of $7.5 million, will provide a safe, nurturing, and faith-filled environment for our youngest learners. The new center will include six modern classrooms designed specifically for early childhood education, fostering both academic readiness and spiritual growth at a critical stage of development.
In addition, the building will feature a multi-purpose room that will serve not only as a gathering and activity space, but also as a designated safe room, ensuring the highest level of protection for the entire student body and staff. A thoughtfully designed outdoor playground will further support healthy development through play and community building.
Importantly, this center will extend its benefits beyond the school day. It will also house our youngest children who participate in after-school care, providing them with a consistent, secure, and welcoming environment while supporting working families within our parish. This same area will be accessible for parish activities in the evening to help with our growing ministry needs as well as provide additional parking for all church and school purposes.
This project is more than bricks and mortar—it is a reflection of our shared commitment to forming young disciples, strengthening families, and growing a vibrant Catholic community rooted in faith, learning, and love.
Since summer season is not an optimal time to begin fundraising efforts, we will officially kick off the One Faith, One Family, and One Future campaign at the beginning of the 2026/2027 school year. At that time we will share more details about the campaign and how each of you can be part of this important effort. I ask for your prayers, your support, and your continued dedication to our mission.
May God bless you abundantly for your generosity and faithfulness.
