2025-2026
September 7Because Faith is best taught and lived out in the family, the Church calls parents to be the first and foremost educators of their children.
All parish families are invited to enroll in Family Faith Formation at Christ the King (those attending non-Catholic schools are highly encouraged). In this program, children meet with their catechists two Sundays a month, from 9am-9:50am in the parish classrooms and parents meet for class in the parish Garden Room. Parents will be given instruction on the information they will present to their children at home on the "off weeks" when class does not meet as well as participate in small group experiences. Childcare will be available during the Sunday morning class time for younger siblings, age 3 and under.
Family Faith Formation meets on Sundays from 9am-9:50am, twice a month.
*For students in the second grade, their class also provides catechesis for their First Sacraments.
Children in grades 3-5 learn through Family Formation (found at www.familyformation.net). Children in Preschool through second grades use Catechesis of the Good Shepherd for their formation.
