+ Know Christ + Becomes Disciples + Embrace Mission + Build the Kingdom +
2026-2027
September 13Because Faith is best taught and lived out in the family, the Church calls parents to be the first and foremost educators of their children.

All parish families are invited to enroll in Family Faith Formation at Christ the King (those attending non-Catholic schools are highly encouraged). In this program, families meet two Sundays a month, either from 9am-9:50am or from 11:15am-12:05pm. (We hope that everyone will get the timeslot they prefer, but it's possible that some may not. Priority goes to those who register first.)
Children who are in Pre-K3 through 6th grade meet with their catechists in the parish classrooms. Students in 7th through 12th grade meet with small group leaders. And, parents meet for class in the parish Garden Room. Parents have guest speakers on the first Sunday of the month that they meet, and participate in small group experiences on the second Sunday that they meet. Childcare will be available during the Sunday morning class times for younger siblings.
* For students in sixth grade, their class provides catechesis for Confirmation.
* For students in the second grade, their class also provides catechesis for First Reconciliation and First Holy Communion.
