Sanctuary Women's Development Center

Christ the King volunteers plan a monthly activity to fellowship with clients of Sanctuary homeless women's day shelter. They also sponsor two annual drives - a Christmas luncheon with gifts and a Summer Essentials collection.

Winter is always a challenging time for the homeless. Christmas can be especially difficult when you are separated from family or friends and have no home in which to share the joys of the season. Catholic Charities is committed to providing a Christmas celebration for its clients at the Women's Sanctuary Development Center.  Christ the King Parish has been a part of this Christmas ministry for several years and your generosity has lifted the spirits of many women. This year Catholic Charities is gifting the women it serves with personal items, such as handwarmers; and gloves, hat and a scarf. A luncheon will also be served. We invite you again to join in the joy of gift giving, and we'll even do the shopping for you! Our deadline for donations is December 19, 2025.

• $40 sponsors personal items; gloves, hat, and a scarf
• $50 sponsors personal items; gloves, hat and a scarf, and helps underwrite the cost of the luncheon
