The Knights of Columbus Council 12669 is proud to offer the Jim Weinmann Bridge Scholarship to alumni of Christ The King School or parishioners of Christ The King Church who are attending Bishop McGuinness High School or Mount St. Mary High School for the 2026-2027 school year.
Students who are interested in applying should fill out an online application. The application should include a short essay in the student’s own words explaining the value of a Catholic education for today’s high school students. The deadline to apply is July 31, 2026. Winners will be notified in early August.
From June 3 to 11, join the Novena to the Sacred Heart, beginning with a 6 p.m. Mass, Eucharistic procession and a blessing at the Blessed Stanley Rother Shrine (700 SE 89th St., Oklahoma City, OK 73149) led by Archbishop Coakley on June 3.
As the United States of America commemorates the 250th anniversary of the signing of the Declaration of Independence in 2026, the U.S. bishops will consecrate the country to the Sacred Heart of Jesus. All Catholics are encouraged to join the bishops in praying for the unity and healing of our country.
One opportunity for parishes and individuals to participate is by contributing to a collective 250 Hours of Adoration. Christ the King will hold a Holy Hour on Monday, May 11 from 5:30-6:30pm and we encourage everyone to attend and help us reach our goal!
In his encyclical, Dilexit nos, Pope Francis instructs us to “nourish our lives with the strength of the Eucharist” in Holy Communion and Adoration, so that we might understand Christ’s love for all more deeply and live out this love ourselves. Our contemplation of the Sacred Heart leads us deeper into the mystery of our salvation and deeper into our love for Christ found in the faces of our sisters and brothers—especially those most in need.

Our final week of Lent will end as the Knights of Columbus "Feed the Hungry" with a Fish Fry in the parish atrium immediately following the 6pm Stations of the Cross.
The dinner is free, but monetary donations will be accepted.
Please join us!
I invite you to join our parish choir for a sung evening Vespers service on March 8 at 5pm in the church. Vespers, from the Latin word for "evening," is one of the most beautiful and ancient liturgies in our Catholic tradition, dating back to the earliest centuries of Christianity. This evening prayer service centers around the singing of psalms, canticles, and hymns that have nourished the faithful for generations.
This Lenten season, we will focus on the Corporal Works of Mercy through donations to various local charitable organizations. We invite you to bring needed items for each organization throughout the week, and then join us at the end of each week for a Friday Lenten Meal, during which a representative will speak about their cause and collect the donations.
