Bible Study: Lectio Eucharist: Discovering the Mass in the Bible
"The Lamb of God," "The Bread of Life," "The Body and the Blood of Christ"... these are phrases we know from the Mass. But do we understand what they mean in the greater and deeper context of Scripture and Church teaching? We'll discover firsthand how Christ's Body and Blood are an integral and wondrous part of God's plan for our salvation. Acclaimed author and teacher Dr. Brant Pitre digs down to the biblical roots of the Eucharist, through its foreshadowing in the miraculous events of the Old Testament, the Gospels, and Apostolic teaching. 10 sessions Cost is $25 for materials Register online

Bible Study: The Bible Timeline: The Story of Salvation
The Bible Timeline® study program takes you on a guided journey through salvation history. The cost is $45 per person and you'll leave with a beautiful piece of art. There is a 20 person minimum, so in order to make this happen in October, we need at least 20 people signed up before September 20th. Please join us! Register at https://ckokc.org/paint-sip.

    CK Run
We are so excited to keep this annual tradition alive, and can't wait to bring the Christ the King community together for a morning of fun, fitness and fellowship! We will continue to create an opportunity for the CK community to gather for a 5K event, a 1 mile fun run or walk and a Toddler Dash. Over the past years, this event has collectively brought together thousands of runners and walkers, hundreds of school, church and community volunteers, as well as hundreds of cheering neighbors, parishioners, students, parents and grandparents for a few hours of Saturday morning fun and fitness. By running together, cheering for each other, as well as volunteering during the event, our CK community inspires children of all physical abilities to achieve their personal bests. Be on the lookout for challenges and contests for the whole family! All proceeds directly benefit the CK Community through our donations to Christ the King Catholic School and Christ the King Catholic Church. Please register online.

    Feeding the Hungry
On the fourth Sunday of each month parishioners cook and serve a nutritious lunch for the poor and homeless at Wiley Post Park. Sign up in the Atrium after Mass on the second and third Sunday of each month. We gather in the Junior High Parking Lot at 12:15pm, load up the food prepared by volunteers and caravan to the serve site. We need volunteers to cook the food and volunteers to serve. Acclaimed author and teacher Dr. Brant Pitre digs down to the biblical roots of the Eucharist, through its foreshadowing in the miraculous events of the Old Testament, the Gospels, and Apostolic teaching. 10 sessions Cost is $25 for materials Register online
